When I stream a video either through YouTube or a streaming website the screen goes black for a second and then returns the image but with areas going blurry/pixelated. Is there any solution to fix this?

I have a somewhat similar problem, where when I use Youtube or any other streaming site and go fullscreen there is pixelation. The pixelation mostly occurs in bright/white areas of the streaming video. I also couldn't manage to screen capture it, as whenever I press a key or move the mouse the pixelation goes away. No black screen issue on my end. Any ideas on how to correct this?

No I haven't.
Temps are:
Core 1 37-40
Core 2 ~35
Core 3 30-31
Core 4 30-31
CPU PECI 36-39
CPU proximity 35-37
GPU PECI 36-38
Temperature for the cores fluctuates from 37-40 on idle.
OK, temps aren't the problem then, can you post a screen shot using the tiny Camera icon in a Reply?
Can't... When I take a screenshot the screen doesn't capture the blurriness/pixelation. It screenshots it as if it never happened but when I look at the screen while taking the screenshot it's there.
I tried recording the screen and while watching a video the recording freezes when the black screen appears and the image goes blurry/fuzzy.
I've found somewhat of a fix. Going to system preferences > Display > Colour and set the display profile to the original iMac fixed it.
OK, the problem is outbound of the Mac then, cable or monitor itself, screenshots are taken in the VRAM of the video card.
Many monitors will try to "improve" video.
